Welcome to the season! Here’s an overview of what to expect as we gear up for an exciting and action-packed season:  

Important update regarding our registration fees for this year.

The fee will be $550 per player. This adjustment was a difficult but necessary decision to ensure we can continue providing a safe and exceptional experience for all our athletes. 

Here’s why:  

👉 Increased Insurance Costs: Protecting our players is our top priority.  

👉 New Helmets: The helmets purchased last year came with a significant investment. 

👉 Fundraising Challenges: Despite our best efforts, fundraising fell short of expectations. After reviewing the numbers, we realized the increased fee is equivalent to what would have been needed in a large fundraiser. This means no mandatory full-district fundraiser this season!

What stays the same?

– $80 of the fee will still go directly to your player’s team. 

– We’ll also be offering registration fundraising opportunities in the coming months to help offset costs, as well as a payment plan option through Affirm.

We understand this may impact some families, and we’re here to help with flexible options wherever possible. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our little league football family. Together, we can make this season one to remember! 

Practice Schedule

– After tryouts, your player will practice Monday through Friday, with the option to practice on Saturday for 3 hours, for the first three weeks of the season.  

– Following the initial weeks, practices will shift to three nights a week, with specific times and locations determined by your coach.  

Volunteer Expectations

Our league thrives because of dedicated volunteers like you! We ask all parents to contribute in some way to help our teams and events run smoothly. Opportunities to volunteer include: 

– Working in the concession stand at home games  

– Assisting with spirit nights or providing game treats for your team  

– Joining the chain crew during home games  

– Running the score clock at games  

– Supporting your team or the district in other ways  

Your involvement makes a huge difference and helps keep the league running strong!

Game Schedule & Format

– Games will be held every Saturday starting August 16th, including Labor Day weekend and Fall Break. 

– The season schedule will be released in sections. 

– The first 3 games will be announced initially. 

– After those games, teams will be assessed, and schedules for the next 3 games will be released. 

– Every team is guaranteed a playoff game on October 11th, which will follow a one-and-done format: 

– Winners will move on to the semifinals on October 18th. 

– Championship games will be played at high school fields on October 25th. 

– The Ute Championship Game will be held on November 1st, also at high school fields.

Playoff & Championship Details 

– All playoff and championship games will have a $5 gate fee for ages 11 and up. (This is one of the district’s biggest fundraisers and helps cover costs for scholarships and additional needs for the district)

– Players and coaches will receive free entry to these games.
